Reading Hack is a youth-led programme run by The Reading Agency. The programme encourages young people aged 13 to 24 to undertake reading activities and volunteering, called hacks, to gain skills and experience. By relating literature to their other interests, such as music and film, young people can lead the way in engaging their peers - particularly those who struggle with reading.
Young people act as brilliant advocates for reading among their peers and working in libraries to support children taking part in the Summer Reading Challenge. Reading Hack is now running in libraries and schools across the country, providing resources and activities to help 13-24 year olds get creative and share reading with others.
